Rock On

Last week I went to the Range!!!! (fatal) and found a new set of mens stamps by Papermania which I thought would be useful, it's always so difficult to know what to make for men.  This is one of the stamps from the set, the others are mainly sports, coloured with Promarkers and mounted on paper from Bearly Mine Designs Donna really has some wonderful papers. I added some buttons with some red Card Candy to so that they looked like records.

Charisma Cards Challenge Boy Oh Boy

This is using one of the sport stamps which I stamped with Stampin Up Close to Cocoa ink to give a vintage look. Simple but effective.

Vintage

This card is made using a Kanban Topper from a set I bought a couple of years ago and never got round to using. The backing papers are from Bearly Mine Designs Shabby Vintage set mounted on some copper coloured pearlescent card that I bought at a sale last week, (I only bought 2 sheets, wish I had bought them all, they were only 5p a sheet!) punched with a Martha Stewart punch. The Cherry Blossom and and roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the buds are from my stash, I can't remember where I got them. I used a Marrianne Designs Bird on a leaf die and just cut the leaves to finish off.  The sentiment is from a set by Hero Arts
This is for two challenges
Bearly Mine Designs Challenge 10 Vintage Easel Card  this is the first time I've made a twisted easel, I think I got it right.

White on White

It seems ages since I posted a card, I've been busy trying to tame the new garden, a long way to go yet, but as the weather isn't so good today I thought I would have a go at the current Less is More Challenge and this is the result.

Not the type of card I would normally make and certainly out of my comfort zone!  As you can see the Cuttlebug has been busy. The central image is made from the Nestabilities Floral Doily Motifs set and the wording is from a small Cuttlebug embossing folder that I've hardly used. The Butterfly is also from a Cuttlebug set with a die and 4 embossing folders. Although the butterfly looks a different colour it is the same pearlised white card as the rest of the card but the light has caught it so that it looks a different colour. I just finished it off with a few tiny pearls.
